What is a mentor? “An experienced and trusted guide” “A tutor, coach” At Sequoia School-based Therapy Solutions, I use the 3 C’s of mentorship: Consultation: Using more than 25 years of school-based experience as a practitioner and administrator, I share experiences and insights on complex school-based challenges to assist you and your clinical decision-making. I provide resources and tools to assist you in your practice, supported with evidence and that s reflected on the work. Counseling: I am an excellent listener. I will help you dissect your challenges, making them easier to process and respond to, whether aligned with practice or administrative considerations. I will challenge your thinking to help you uncover solutions and develop your confidence in decision-making. Cheerleader: I will celebrate your success as a school-based practitioner delivering best practices to your students and teams for positive outcomes!
